Elaine Tomlin, Irish artist and interior product designer creates beautiful and original fine art, textiles and interior homewares.
A native of Dublin, Ireland Elaine Tomlin is an Irish artist, textile and product designer. Elaine is also a trained interior designer and specialises in creating limited edition giclée abstract fine art prints and interior home textiles and decor such as cushions, tables runners and many other home accessories. More recently, Elaine has launched a range of sports wear called Aspen Wear which is proving extremely popular.
Favouring a medium of acrylic, she is inspired by nature and a love of County Wicklow landscapes. The beautiful Beach at Brittas, woodlands of Laragh and the mountains of Glendalough have provided wonderful inspiration for many paintings.
The abstract landscape images are painted in beautiful muted colours such as sage green, beige, light blue and pinks which makes them a popular choice as they complement home interior trends and colour schemes.
Elaine comes from a lineage of artists and sculptures spanning four generations. Her grandfather Stanley Tomlin, studied stained glass art at the infamous Harry Clarke Studio's in Dublin, her father Alan Tomlin is one of Ireland most renowned stained glass artists. Elaine continues the family history with love and appreciate of art and design.
